Job Description:

Plus Appliance Repair provides services in Toronto for individuals and businesses: appliance installation/wiring, warranty and post-warranty appliance repair, firmware and control module repair for various brands of appliances. Today we are developing our website and are looking for a good wordpress developer on Jobminister. The work is expected to be either in the office or remotely, so not only Toronto residents are welcome to apply.

Skills in layout:

• HTML4-5, CSS3, jQuery, flexbox layout
• Ability to design layout without using JS libraries and third-party frameworks
• High-quality responsive layout
• Interaction with designer through Figma

General:

• Knowledge of git, gulp, sass
• Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Javascript
• SSH/FTP/Plesk/Direct Admin/Cpanel

Wordpress:

• Ability to bind the layout to Wordpress
• Template development from scratch (layout + binding to the engine + content integration in the admin panel to allow for content management through the admin panel)
• Integration of the content into Wordpress admin panel (for instance via ACF)
• Understanding caching, SEO optimization skills
• Developing a website (landing page) with a minimum number of plugins
• Understanding and skills in project security
• Experience with wordpress multisite is desirable

Will be a plus:

• Ability to write/edit other people's plugins and develop your own
• Knowledge of PHP frameworks (Laravel/Yii2/CodeIgniter)
• Knowledge of Vue.js (FE part of the main project on Vue.js and will be able to develop in this direction and help our developers)
